Kyoshi Stech is a 7th degree black belt in the Okinawan system that was passed down by O'Sensei Hohan Soken. Hohan Soken's martial art is highly prized and a true Okinawan treasure. She received her training and degree in Okinawa under Hanshi Takaya Yabiku.

She also is a 5th degree black belt in Koshin-Ryu, an Okinawan Traditional system. Ms. Stech received her Shihan (Master/Teacher) license in Okinawa and is the only female in the United States with the privilege of teaching the Koshin-Ryu system. Her dojo is located in Summerville, SC and has been in operation since 1992.
